New Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrest Resources.

Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland has received Scottish Government funding to develop  two new online resources, aimed at supporting the rehabilitation and aftercare of those involved in Out of Hospital Cardiac Arrests (OHCA).  One module will support individuals responding to an OHCA, while the other will be for survivors of OHCA and their families, and those bereaved by OHCA.

Work has already started, with a completion deadline of October 2016. Once again, we'll be working with the University of Edinburgh interactive content development team to produce exciting, engaging resources.  A wide range of professionals are working on the first module, including nurses, AHPs, paramedics, Fires & Rescue Scotland staff and first responders. Survivors of OHCA, their families and those bereaved by OHCA will be contributing their narratives and content for the second module will emerge from their stories.
